1975-88 Gmc Sierra Suburban 3/4 Ton 16" Hubcaps With Adapter Rings Wheel Covers on 2040-parts.com
Malden, Massachusetts, US
Hey folks-
This
auction is for three (3) 1975-1988 GMC full wheel covers. These are essentially 15" hubcaps mounted in 16" adapter rings for 3/4 ton trucks, this is the factory setup that came on the higher end models, Suburbans, etc. These are original equipment off of a 1988 Suburban Sierra Classic 2500 that I owned years ago.
The 15" version was used on some trucks as well.
They are in good condition overall, showing some wear, a few dings and scratches, etc. They do look nice when installed on a truck. See pictures.
GM part #14054906. Hollander interchange number is 3129B (the 'B' is for GMC hubcaps, there is a Chevy version also).
These would be great to have as spares or to replace missing ones on a driver. They are very hard to find these days.
Items are sold AS-IS, AS-SHOWN.

Italdesign Tex concept
Thu, 17 Mar 2011The second concept from Volkswagen's recently acquired Italdesign was the Tex. A research study into the potential future design language of the German brand, the Tex also draws on existing technologies from Wolfsburg. Utilizing the 'twin drive' plug-in hybrid system, the Tex is capable of a range of 35 kilometers in electric mode, a range Giugiaro claims is ample enough for day-to-day commuting. Adopting a sporting pretense, the Tex is low slung, sitting atop large 19-inch diameter wheels and sports an aggressive DRG.

Audi's new A8 (2010): the first teaser photos
Tue, 21 Jul 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 21 July 2009 17:34 Audi has released a teaser picture and sketch of its new A8 limo. Buried amongst the press material for Ingolstadt’s 100th anniversary were the two teaser images: the sketch reveals the headlight and grille design; the picture shows the A8 hidden beneath a black Audi-branded dustsheet. The A8 is currently in the final stages of testing, but Audi promises an unveil in ‘the late autumn of 2009’ – the new aluminium limo isn’t expected at the Frankfurt motor show this September, so we should see it in LA later in the year. Audi claims its ‘new flagship offers an impressive palette of innovative technologies and will redefine the benchmark for luxury saloons.’ A typically bullish claim – how will Audi match its boasts? The basic tech remains the same, with an aluminium chassis – which will also underpin the next Bentley Continental – that contributes to a significant weight saving.
