This is a OEM Datsun 4 speed shifter that came off of a 1976 280z. The chrome is in good shape for its age, but the lower section does have some minor pitting. It will be covered up when installed in car due to rubber boot covering it up. Over all in nice OEM shape for its age and ready to install!!! I believe this will work for the 5 speed trans as well! Washington auto show: Ford develops ‘intelligent cars'
Thu, 27 Jan 2011There are plenty of smartphones, and now Ford is pitching the idea of “intelligent cars” that can communicate with each other to avoid accidents. Ford is investing heavily into the technology and will launch a fleet of prototypes this spring, the company said on Thursday at the Washington auto show. The idea is to use wireless signals on a secured channel to allow cars to communicate with each other.
Next BMW 7-series previewed in Vision Future Luxury concept
Sat, 19 Apr 2014BMW has previewed key exterior styling elements, contemporary interior design touches, lightweight carbon fiber construction and innovative lighting systems to be incorporated on next year's sixth-generation 7-series with the unveiling of an arresting new concept car that goes under the name Vision Future Luxury. Revealed at the Beijing auto show, the big new sedan is described as a showcase for future BMW models. But while initial speculation suggested the Vision Future Luxury pointed at a possible 9-series flagship model to be installed at the top of the German car maker's lineup, BMW officials have confirmed the new concept was created more specifically as a pointer to the next 7-series, which is planned to head into North American showrooms late next year.
Honda designers talk about Tokyo concepts
