1976 77 78 Gm Nos F Body Hurst Hatch 1st Design T-top Weatherstrips Trans Am on 2040-parts.com
Dublin, Ohio, United States
Pair of GM weatherstrip seals for First Generation Hurst Hatch T Tops. Hurst Hatch T-Tops were offered in two designs and this set is for the slightly smaller 1st Gen where the weather stripping holds the headliner up. These tops are found on 1976 -1978 F Body Camaro, Firebird and Trans Am models.
The seals appear to be 100% GM NOS in the original box and never installed. I bought a 1978 Trams Am with all receipts and extra parts. The seller had purchased the seals from East Coast TTops in 1995 and they were for First gen and my car is a Second Gen Hurst Top so they went unused. The receipt shows the purchase price of $450 in 1995. |

Amelia Island auction wrap-up
Tue, 12 Mar 2013With everything that happened last weekend in Amelia Island, attendees could be forgiven for missing the auctions. Attendees could be forgiven, but a failure by Autoweek to bring those hot, hot auction numbers to you, the readers of autoweek.com? Well, that would be unforgiveable -- especially when Hagerty has people watching every single car cross the block, and then compiling all the results.

Wed, 22 Jun 2011It's not just the weather that's hot in California--apparently lots of the cars are, too. The National Insurance Crime Bureau released its list of the top 10 car-theft areas in the country for 2010. Eight of them are in the Golden State, mostly in rural areas.
Fiat 500 gets 3-star safety rating from NHTSA
Fri, 09 Dec 2011The slow-selling 2012 Fiat 500 now has another obstacle in its sales path: It has been tagged by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration with a three-star safety rating, the lowest of any new model tested so far. The two-door subcompact received four stars from NHTSA for frontal crash and rollover accidents but received just two stars for side-impact crash safety, the agency announced on its Web site, safercar.gov. The tests gave the car a combined overall safety rating of three stars, NHTSA reported.
