CAMARO CENTER HUBCAPS (2)

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY.  THESE ARE TWO OF THE EARLIER METAL EXAMPLES.  LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICS AND READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION!!!

THESE ARE UNRESTORED EXAMPLES THAT ARE IN GOOD OVERALL CONDITION.  IT SUFFERS FROM TYPICAL WEAR BUT ARE TWO OF THE BRIGHTER EXAMPLES WE HAVE CAME ACROSS.  HONESTLY, WE RARELY FIND THESE ANY MORE.  THERE ARE LITTLE SCRATCHES AND SO ON PROBABLY FROM THE LUG WRENCH AND HANDLING.  MOST OF THIS IS IN THE LUG NUT AREA ON THE SIDES.  UNDOUBTEDLY THERE ARE A FEW LITTLE PITS AND SCRATCHES.  NOTHING OR SIGNIFICANCE FOR MOST APPLICATIONS.  THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICED,  REALLY GOOD, UNRESTORED EXAMPLES THAT WOULD SERVE MANY OWNERS WELL.

COOL EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE THEM A 3 +++.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which this is.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS TOO.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Jaguar F-Type: Fearless

Fri, 06 Jul 2012

Jaguar is continuing its PR assault for the new F-Type with a video setting out just how special the new Jaguar F-Type will be. If there’s one thing that separates ’New Jaguar’ from ‘Old Jaguar’ it’s their willingness to embrace every opportunity to positively promote their cars at every possible turn and in every possible way. The launch of the new XJ properly started the new style of PR offensives when Jaguar managed to release what seemed like a thousand teasers for their new big Cat before we’d even seen it in the flesh, and that was a full year before the first new XJs even hit Jaguar showrooms.

BMW Concept Active Tourer – It’s the BMW B Class

Fri, 14 Sep 2012

The BMW Concept Active Tourer has been revealed ahead of the Paris Motor Show, previewing BMW’s new FWD direction. We recently had Mercedes roll out their take on the BMW 1 Series with the new A Class, and now the roles are reversed with BMW revealing their take on the Mercedes B Class with the BMW Concept Active Tourer. The BMW Concept Active Tourer is a preview of BMW’s front wheel drive future in the small premium sector, even if the Concept Active Tourer is notionally 4WD thanks to its a 67bhp electric motor driving the back axle in this hybrid setup.
