This 3-piece Kit with the internal brackets upgrade was produced to replace the original wheel and nose spoilers on a Trans Am,

and bolt right up using all of the factory bolt hole locations. Our heavy duty spoilers are made of durable HAND-LAID fiberglass,

and have a black gel-coat finish.  Parts must be lightly sanded and painted to match car color.

Kit includes installation instructions and hardware, our EXCLUSIVE black (and paintable) 3/8″ wide OEM Style bead welting,

with our unique double sided mounting 3M tape on the back to make installation of the Rubber Welting a breeze!

Why buy Our Fiberglass Flares over ABS Vacuum Formed Plastic?


The Cold Hard FACTS:

The factory OEM units were made of very poor quality.  At that time, GM was only learning and experimenting on how to use plastic materials on automobiles, and they made many mistakes. The GM flares were made out of a very thin ABS plastic.  So thin, that the bead welting was attached with staples at the ends. These OEM flares would quickly become brittle from the heat and would easily break (especially on the ends), crack, warp, and become wavy from exposure to sun and the elements. While there are some aftermarket ABS vacuum formed plastic replacement units available on the market, and it's possible that there may be
some good ones out there, many of our customers have reported to us numerous problems with ABS aftermarket units that they had purchased;  Namely, that they DO NOT fit properly, are wavy right out of the box, and in many cases, have small dimples all over them caused by the vacuum holes in the mould surface acting on the hot plastic.
All of these defects can require A LOT of costly body work to make them look decent, and still you're left with a thin, inferior plastic part that may not last long or fit properly.

Our fiberglass units are made of extremely high quality hand laid fiberglass and are very strong. They are smooth and straight, have NO dimples on the surface and they fit properly, just like the OEM units.  Also, fiberglass is a much better surface to work with as far as paint and finishing work goes, and it can even be easily repaired if broken, unlike ABS.  The OEM grey rubber Bead Welting was also a BIG headache to deal with, as it would rarely stay in place during and after the installation, despite the staples used to hold it down on the ends.  Our Bead Welting, which is exclusively made for us, is BLACK, which many prefer to leave unpainted, but you can paint it as well. It comes with pre installed 3M double sided tape on the back to make it stay in place during and after the installation!  Bead welting is not included for the Center Spoiler, but is for the 4 fender flares.
