2012 Toyota Yaris: The UK stuff

Wed, 13 Jul 2011

The 2012 Toyota Yaris - the UK details We’ve been trailing the 2012 Toyota Yaris since the end of last year when Toyota in Japan unveiled the JDM Toyota Viz ( the Japanese version of the Yaris) and again a month ago with the unofficial Euro details. The Yaris will come in four flavours of trim – T2, TR, SR and Spirit – although Toyota say that a full two thirds of sales are of the TR trim.

It seems BMW think that the launch of the new ‘i’ brand is the right time to look at more modern ways of selling their cars than simply running a few adverts and having nice shiny showrooms.

The build quality is great; the price point is great and they now have some real design flair to them. We reviewed the Hyundai i20 back in January and found it to be a terrific little car.
