For sale is an original 1977-1979 Lincoln Mark V grille, chrome housing, emblem and hood ornament. I carefully removed this from a car I am parting out due to roof rust and failed Ca smog. This piece is in great condition. The plastic grille has no cracks. The housing has no cracks dings or dents. The chrome she'll is very nice. I cleaned it up carefully and it has no deep pitting. The top section had some minor green pitting but has cleaned up nice. The bottom horizontal section of the grille shell shows some wear. It is still very nice, and not seen once installed. Due to the nature of taking pictures of chrome it is hard to show these slight flaws. All mounting points are intact.

Next Volvo infotainment system will look like an iPhone

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

After more than a decade of disparate and clunky systems that have tried to force their ways of doing things upon our already-overloaded brains, it appears that smartphones and cars are finally going to be friends, after all. And by that, we don't mean that it's suddenly OK to text and drive. Rather, the infotainment systems in cars are finally going to have operating systems that mirror those of smartphones as they interact with your own phone.
