1977 1978 1979 Lincoln Mark V Rear Bumper Pads - Pair - Continental - 77 78 79 on 2040-parts.com
Lodi, New Jersey, US
Up for auction is a pair of black rear bumper pads for a 1977-79 Continental Mark V. These were removed from my 1977 Mark V Cartier around 1990 when the previous owner had the car repainted and various other things done to the car. At the time he also replaced many trim pieces on the car with new old stock, including this trunk lock cover. They had appx. 13 years of use and were then put in storage afterwards, which I also did since I bought the car in 2006. To further gauge the use on them, I purchased the car with a little over 52,000 miles, though when he did the repaint/freshening and pulled these, the car probably had mileage in the upper 40k's.

Tue, 15 Sep 2009The Aston Martin Rapide launches in Frankfurt Looking just like it has since we first saw it – with very few detail changes – the Rapide shows just how good a four-door supercar based on its two-door sibling can be. Take note, Porsche. The exterior of the Rapide is a joy, with hidden door handles keeping the lines sleek, LED sidelights and bi-xenon headlights and big, 20″ alloys.
Continental developing experimental semiautonomous vehicle
Mon, 26 Mar 2012A vehicle that drives itself has been a fantasy for many drivers since they encountered their first traffic jam. While a fully autonomous car is not quite here, Continental—yes, the same company that makes tires—has an experimental semiautonomous vehicle that will eclipse the magical 10,000-miles-on-road mark this month. Its unassuming Volkswagen Passat is fitted with a plethora of safety and technology systems that the company has been developing and tweaking over the course of the project.
