This is a complete, NOS Chevrolet dealership all color sales brochure for the 1978 Chevy Luv pickup truck, New Series 8 with the factory insert. Copyrighted in 1977, this 6 page, tri-fold sales brochure measures 11" x 8.5". It's in mint condition and has no dealership stamp. Also included is the Chevy black and white insert covering the 1978 Chevy engine data for passenger cars and light duty trucks on the one side and the model and engine combination and EPA mileage estimates on the other side. One is a rather cool road-going version of the Race Touareg 3 that’s just notched up a victory at the 2011 Dakar rally, and the other is an awful monster called the Touareg Gold Edition. Underneath the skin it’s a genuine version of the latest Race Touareg 3, with a turbocharged 2.5-litre diesel engine, a trick four-wheel drive system and a super-stiff chassis.
Free Regent Street Motor Show to showcase past, present and future
Mon, 21 Oct 2013A GLORIOUS MIX of old and new will descend on the capital in early November as the Regent Street Motor Show returns. On Saturday 2nd November Regent Street closes to traffic from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus, allowing over 300 cars to go on display in a free show for the public. The display will include as many as 100 pre-1905 veteran vehicles which will compete in the EFG International Concours d’Elegance and then take on the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run the following day - the oldest competitive driving event in the world.
