This is a used steering column surround to fit a 1977-1980 Triumph Spitfire. ....check your applications please. Needs a good cleaning. Some scratches-nicks. NOTE: it is in great shape! It has both screws and the nuts are still there where they are supposed to be...no longer available here is a chance to pick up a good one! What you see is what you get. Check pics ( I took plenty) and ask questions before bidding! No paint rebuilds here. We are doing a major clean out. Comes with what is pictured. Vauxhall customers to benefit from Government funding
Thu, 10 Oct 2013VAUXHALL customers can now benefit from free installation of a home charging unit for their Ampera extended-range electric vehicles. Following the Government's announcement of funding for owners of electric vehicles (EVs) where they will cover 75 per cent of costs for home charging unit installations up to a maximum of £1,000 including VAT, Vauxhall has now offered to meet the remaining 25 per cent on the same basis for new retail customers taking up the offer. The Government’s £37 million package of benefits also includes additional measures for local authorities to install on-street charging posts and rapid chargers.
KTM X-Bow – want a drive?
Sat, 06 Jun 2009KTM X-Bow 'Drive Orange' track days at Brands Hatch and Silverstone KTM is an Austrian Motor Cycle manufacturer which has woken up to the possibilities of making a four-wheeled creation, and has been busy building and refining the X-Bow in collaboration with Dallara and Audi. Featuring a 237bhp, 2.0 litre Audi TFSi unit – and coming in at a bit under £50,000 for the street version – its low weight (790kg) gives it supercar acceleration of around 3.7 second 0-60mph. There is even talk of a 380bhp version, which will put it up there with the Ariel Atom V8 we reported on recently.
Saab's future could be bright
Tue, 23 Jun 2009Saab is planning a return to its old-brand values with an extended model range as it prepares for a new, independent future owned by a joint U.S.-Scandinavian investment team. Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg grabbed headlines as the buyer from General Motors, but Koenigsegg is just one of at least three major investors. The others are West Coast entrepreneur Mark Bishop and Norwegian holding company Eker Group.
