*** This is a used Driver's Door Mirror with Thermometer, and optional mirror that likely fits all 1977-1992 Fleetwood, 1977-1984 Coupe and Sedan DeVille.  Although the bolt spacing appears to be the same as the 1979-85 Eldorado and 1980-85 Seville, I am unsure if the angle of the base is exactly the same?  Double check the part # provided to be sure it meets the needs of your car - I cannot be responsible for that. ***


FOR BEING 30+ YEARS OLD, IT'S REALLY IN DECENT SHAPE, IN FACT I WONDER IF IT'S A N.O.S. (NEW OLD STOCK) OUT OF BOX??  I DON'T HAVE THE HISTORY ON THIS, AS I BOUGHT IT SECOND HAND.  THE THREADS DON'T LOOK USED ON THE BASE, NO STAINS OR MARKS ON THE CONTROL WAND, SCRAPES IN THE PLASTIC WIRE COVERING, ETC ETC.   BUT REALIZE IF IT IS NEW, IT'S WITHOUT A BOX AND HAS LIGHT WEAR FROM THAT.  THE CHROME, GLASS, MECHANICS OF THIS MIRROR ARE ALL EXCELLENT!  THE ONLY "FLAW"  I CAN SEE IS THAT THERE ARE A FEW PINHEAD PITS ON THE BACK TOP OF THE HOUSING - SEE PIC. (I'VE BOUGHT NOS HOOD ORNAMENTS AND WHEEL COVERS THAT HAVE SAT IN BOXES FOR 30 YEARS WITH SLIGHT PITS, THE AGING PROCESS DOESN'T STOP IN YOUR GARAGE OR BASEMENT!)  CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS.  THIS IS A STANDARD MIRROR, NOT POWER LIKE THE LATER ONES WERE (THAT BROKE A LOT, LOL...THIS WILL FIT INTO THE SAME HOLES AND GIVE YOU OLD-SCHOOL CONTROL WITH CABLES).


OVERALL I RATE THE MIRROR A SOLID 9.5 on a 10 SCALE...  THESE DON'T COME AROUND OFTEN, SO DON'T SNOOZE AND LOSE. :D
