For sale is a RARE original Pontiac 400 / 350 shaker from trans am firebird. This was originally removed from a 1978.  But, it will work for 1977-1981 pontiac motors with shaker.  It is in EXCELLENT shape and UNCUT.  Could be cleaned up and repainted to be perfect.  These are getting hard to find and they do NOT REPRODUCE THEM.  There are no cracks or missing parts, and it is un-cut.

See the pictures to judge for yourself.  DO YOUR HOMEWORK and make sure this is what you want before bidding.  Ask questions if you have any.  Bidder pays shipping.

Factory Five Body Design Competition

Wed, 23 Feb 2011

Following in the footsteps of Local Motors, Factory Five is set to launch an open-sourced design contest to design its next car. Up until now, the Massachusetts-based company is famed for its Type '65 Shelby Cobra Coupe replicas and its GTM racecar. Teaming up with Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, Factory Five is now launching the design contest to design the bodywork for its latest project: a Subaru Impreza-engined, rear-wheel-drive two-seater that is expected to sell for under $9,000 in kit form, or $15,000 as a complete car.

Runaway ostrich causes traffic chaos

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Rush hour in the town of Tunbridge Wells took a humorous turn yesterday when a runaway ostrich shot past cars at speeds of over 40mph, with a clear disregard for road conditions, traffic and speed limits. Alarmingly, the rogue bird is still on the run from police and there are fears it could cause carnage in the town centre, as the RSCPA warns fully-grown ostriches max out at around 60mph. On Bing: see pictures of runaway ostriches Cars named after animals If the ostrich were to collide with an individual, its lack of crumple zones means the pedestrian could be badly injured and, as far we’re aware, ostriches are yet to be put through strict Euro NCAP crash tests.

2012 Nissan NV hauls the goods

Mon, 07 Feb 2011

On the vehicular-evolutionary chart, full-size cargo vans haven't progressed much beyond the shag-carpeted, porthole-windowed, rolling disco lounges of the 1970s. Not a bad thing for obvious reasons, unless you're a tradesman or anyone else whose business requires a heavy-duty box on wheels to haul tools, equipment or goods. Enter the 2012 Nissan NV (Nissan Van), directed at what Nissan found was the least-satisfied segment of automotive customers.
