FOR AUCTION: SEAT AND BACKREST REMOVED FROM A NON-RUNNING 1977 BMW R100/7 MOTORCYCLE.  THIS BIKE HAS BEEN SITTING FOR YEARS.  SEAT IS IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION FOR THE AGE.  NO RIPS ON TOP OF SEAT AND BACKREST.   THERE ARE AREAS OF SEPARATIONS IN THE MATERIAL AT THE BOTTOM WHERE IT MEETS THE PAN AND THE PAN DOES HAVE SOME RUST.  SOME MOUNTING BOLTS, BUT NOT ALL, INCLUDED.  THERE IS SOME LIGHT STAINING ON MAIN PART OF SEAT, BUT IS PRETTY MINOR.  AREAS OF MAIN SEAT, WHERE BACK REST BOLTS ONTO IS TORN, BUT IS COVERED WHEN BACKREST IS ATTACHED.  BACKREST HAS BEEN REMOVED AND WILL NEED TO BE RE-INSTALLED BY BUYER.  CHROME ATTACHED TO BACKREST HAS SURFACE RUST AND PITTING, BUT NO RUST THRUS.  THE PICTURES SHOULD GIVE A GOOD IDEA ON CONDITION.   MOTORCYCLE ODOMETER READS 44,220 MILES.  WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.  PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING / BUYING.  I AM OUT OF THE SHOP ON WEEKENDS SO PLEASE BE PATIENT IF ASKING A QUESTION DURING THE WEEKEND....IT WILL BE ANSWERED ON MONDAY.  ANY OFFERS OR COMMENTS WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED!  SHIPPING APPLIES ONLY TO CONTINENTAL 48 US STATES.  COMBINED SHIPPING WHEN APPLICABLE.  THANKS.  JM CYCLE.

Following on from a front three-quarter sketch released to the press last week, Lexus has given us a good view of its Premium Compact Concept from the rear - along with its proper name: LF-Ch. Equipped with Lexus's Hybrid Drive system, this BMW 1 Series rival will be able to run on both electric and gasoline when it goes on sale in 2010. The car's full volumes, raked-back windscreen and aggressive new variation on Lexus's corporate nose are visible from the sketch, while the new rear image confirms that the newcomer will combine the looks of a coupe with the practicality of four doors.
