This auction is for the original 1977 BMW R100 left cylinder head which takes 42mm inlet and 40 mm exhaust valve. It is in good condition with no bent or broken fins. The exhaust threads need a repair as seen in the picture. The sealing surfaces look good with no scratches or dents. There is some pitting in the combustion chamber as seen in the pictures. The other head is also for sale in my other auctions. BMW 1M Coupe will turn in to the BMW M2 in 2014 BMW has finally found a way round the whole BMW M1 / BM 1M name issue. They’re not going to bother. Instead, the next generation of small BMWs will spawn the BMW M2 and not bother with the 1M at all.
