Hamilton brother aiming to be first disabled racer in BTCC

LEWIS HAMILTON's younger half-brother Nicolas is aiming to become the first disabled driver to compete in British Touring Car Championship. Nicolas Hamilton, who has cerebral palsy and has raced in the Renault Clio Cup in 2011 and 2012, announced his intention to secure a seat in the 2015 competition. Land Rover fomalizes deal with off-road partner Bowler

Land Rover finalized a deal with Bowler on Thursday that formalizes an existing arrangement as Bowler—a U.K.-based builder of rally raid cars—has been a working with Land Rover for more than a decade. Bowler competition vehicles will now compete with “Powered by Land Rover” badges, a slogan that will also be highlighted in customer and marketing events. Bowler will also get access to Land Rover parts and benefit from “technical and development support” from the firm.

Saab sees another production hiccup

Saab, trying to recover from a production shutdown for most of April and May, hit another snag on Tuesday as the company said it had to halt production again because of a supply disruption. The latest issue is expected to be resolved on Wednesday, the company said. "We will start tomorrow again," Saab spokesman Eric Geers said on Tuesday.
