For sale are the individual pistons pulled from a 1977 Mercedes 450SL.  Each piston appears to be in decent shape, though the motor was not running when I bought the car, so no idea of the condition.  The engine did rotate freely however.

There are two different numbers on the pistons, some marked 1 and others 2.  Not sure if it makes any difference, but if you have a preference and there are still some of those available, please let me know.

I got the compatibility info from another auction, so please make sure it fits your car before bidding.  No returns.

Please let me know if you need additional pictures or info.

Thanks.

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS) has completed the purchase of the assets of Saab, but can’t use the Griffin logo. It looks like the Chinese, Japanese, Swedish Consortium NEVS has finally completed the process of acquiring the assets of bankrupt Saab, but it hasn’t quite got all it wanted. We reported last week that the process of acquiring Saab had been delayed as there were still issues over the rights to the Saab log, a logo owned by Scania and Saab Aerospace.

"When we have partners across the ocean who are known as the best sports-car makers in the world, the future opportunities are huge," Dodge brand chief Ralph Gilles said in a release.

Aston Martin DBS Ultimate Edition planned The Aston Martin DBS is to be refreshed at the end of 2012 and AML look set to produce a run-out model – the DBS Ultimate Edition. There’s no doubt that Aston Martin likes a variation on a theme, and has a real penchant for a limited edition car whenever a suitable occasion can be found. So a run-out model for the current DBS is a given.
