This is a replacement delete cover that allows the removal of your factory A/C evaporator box and still allows the use of the heater & defroster functions. Cleans up engine compartment and at the same time allows room for engine swaps,large valve covers, etc. Covers are made in a heavy durable fiberglass with a black gelcoat. These are a bolt on installation and require no modifications to the firewall. This should fit all 1978-88 G-Body GM models, Malibu, El Camino, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Buick Regal and Pontiac Grand Prix. Vehicles recalled amid airbags fear

JAPANESE car giants Honda, Mazda and Nissan are recalling millions of vehicles worldwide amid fears that a defect in airbags manufactured by supplier Takata Corp could cause them to explode. No accidents have been reported. Honda recalled 2.03 million vehicles over the airbag problem, including 1.02 million vehicles in North America and nearly 669,000 in Japan.

As Autoweek contributor Patrick Paternie explained during the SEMA show, the new COPO (Central Office Production Order) nameplate pays homage to the rare high-powered 1969 Camaros created through a loophole in the special-order program. This enabled dealers to specify a 427 engine--COPO 9560, the aluminum ZL1, or COPO 9561, the Corvette-based L72 iron block--despite the Camaro technically being limited to the 396-cubic-inch powerplant.
