PROPER C3 CORVETTE OFFSET!!!! The original clutch linkage along with the OEM Hurst shifter unit.

I'm swapping this M22 close ratio out for a new Tremic 6 and Hydro Clutch set up in my 78 C3 daily driver. To help pay for that I'm making this rare, highly desirable unit and its parts available to a good home. This is a restorers dream date!!! If your working on a tailor queen, this is your chance!

This trans has about 90 to 100K on it but its working very well. It holds all gears under heavy acceleration and 'gates' beautifully. I have posted a video on YouTube of THIS EXACT transmission in my car up and running. (In this Vid I mentioned that I would mark it to keep things on the Up and Up... Unfortunately the marker I used washed away during cleaning. I assure you this is the same unit.)

Watch it here: https://youtu.be/AWZ8qXq881s

I am including the original shifter, clutch linkage and throw out fork. This unit has never been dissembled and will be crated and shipped just as it was removed. The shifter is dialed in beautifully, I have worked on many of these units and I recommend that it be left alone. These transmissions hate to be tweaked once they settle in. Though this unit should be considered a 'core' it is in very good drop in condition and is numbers correct for a Silver Anniversary restoration. If you are going to use your Vette as a DD then you might want to do syncros and bearings, but NOT the gears. They are lapped in beautifully and are very quiet. IT WILL BE SHIPPED EMPTY!!!!!

I have a decent history on the donor car as it belonged to my Father for quite some time. This was his baby and he never abused this car or drive train in any way. He drove it like it was made of glass.

Only one issue: It hangs a little in third when its REAL hot but drops right in on double clutch. If you are a Muncy guy you know that this is normal for this unit at this mileage and not a real problem. New syncros will cure that issue should you choose. That being said, it does have the expected ware and tear. I'd look into replacing at least the input shaft and bearing but again, its a solid unit so its up to you. I cleaned the input shaft up as it had some buildup from a bad pilot bushing.

Its allot of money so feel free to call me: M thru F 7:30 to 4:30 at my shop, 585.254. Eight Eight 20. I'd be happy to talk to you about it and give you a opportunity to get to know me.

Sold AS IS but from a 100% seller!!! Returns only for Shipping damage please.

We can work out shipping. It will be carefully crated from my commercial facility. I can fork lift it onto a truck. Pick up, UPS, Fed Ex or comercial carrier all available.

PayPal only for 'our' protection...

Lada 'ready to sell in Western Europe by 2013'

Tue, 27 Apr 2010

Lada is set to relaunch in western Europe - including the UK - by 2012-2013 to counter the threat of Chinese car makers, senior sources admitted last night. Renault's global marketing senior vice president, Stephen Norman, told CAR that Renault-Nissan's stake in Russian firm AvtoVaz would help bring about the return of Lada to Britain. 'The UK is one of the few markets where Lada was a success,' said Norman.
