This is a nice piece of trim from a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. I am not sure if this is an exterior or interior part. It is in nice condition. The part number is ASCF - 214E - 5029A - LH NMP. If you have one of these cars and it is missing this trim this is a no brainer. I recently had a great fellow e-bayer advise me of the exact application for this part.
"The piece you are selling is designed for the 1977 or 78 Eldorados with the Biarritz trim option. It attaches to the hood. If you look up 1978 Eldorado Biarritz and then a regular 1978 Eldorado you can see that the Biarritz has an optional beauty trim package which the regular coupes do not".

Ford Escape, Fusion get software fix
Tue, 11 Dec 2012Ford says it has developed a fix for the potential engine fire problem that prompted it to recall nearly 90,000 copies of the new Escape and Fusion with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine. Ford traced the problem to a glitch in the engine software that could lead to an engine fire in the event of pressure dropped in the cooling system. So dealers will update the software on the recalled vehicles.
New COPO Camaro concept hits the drag strip

As Autoweek contributor Patrick Paternie explained during the SEMA show, the new COPO (Central Office Production Order) nameplate pays homage to the rare high-powered 1969 Camaros created through a loophole in the special-order program. This enabled dealers to specify a 427 engine--COPO 9560, the aluminum ZL1, or COPO 9561, the Corvette-based L72 iron block--despite the Camaro technically being limited to the 396-cubic-inch powerplant.
