This advertisement indicates that all three 1978 models, the Civic 1200, the Civic CVCC and the Honda Accord all get good gas milage ranging from the Civic 1200 at 30 mpg highway to the Civic CVCC at 47 mpg highway.

Chrysler vows to rebuild SRT

Ralph Gilles promises that Chrysler Group will be "very choosy" about the cars and trucks that get the SRT performance badge. Gilles, recently named head of SRT, is charged with rebuilding the SRT unit, which languished when Chrysler was owned by Cerberus Capital Management. Three new SRT vehicles, versions of the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans and the Jeep Grand Cherokee, will arrive in dealerships this fall, joining the Challenger SRT8.

From Cape Town to London -- in a Fiat Panda

If we wanted to break the speed record for the run from Cape Town, South Africa to London -- a quick 10,000-mile jaunt -- we'd start out by scouring the classifieds for something big and rugged. A Land Rover would be a classic choice, but a tricked-out Toyota or Jeep could do nicely as well. A team consisting of British rally drivers Philip Young and Paul Brace are taking a somewhat different approach.

GM greenlights Chevy Spark, Orlando for production

Two more fuel-sipping Chevrolets will be coming to North America in 2011. The Chevy Beat concept is now called the Spark, and along with the Orlando multi-purpose vehicle, has been greenlighted for production. They will be sold around the world, including in the United States.
