1978 Honda Cb750k Engine / Motor All New Bearings on 2040-parts.com
Newnan, Georgia, United States
These cases I have had for 2 years. They are from a 78 but will fit in any sohc bike. While there are several differences the only one you may need to be concerned with is the sprocket carrier. If you have anything other than a 77 78 you will need the piece that your rear sprocket is bolted to as it is out more than the earlier models to accommodate the stronger final drive bearing.
This engine was low miles and perfect condition. I changed the 1 st gear. Installed new bearings on n the crank and rods. The cases were Bbbbb and the rods were 4's which equated to green crank & yellow rods bearings. I have had the cylinders boared to 62mm and have ported and polished the head. If I thought someone would actually pay for this work I would go ahead and put it together. As it is this is a very nice engine in near-perfect condition and ready to run. The final drive on this model has 50 teeth ILO 55. The bolt holding it down was changed to an 8mm bolt ILO a 6mm. This was Honda last and fastest single overhead cam CB 750 k engine. A man from Texas had called and wanted to build a faster engine for his bike. I suggested a 1 mm over bore . Back in THE DAY , if you were going to face your cb750 it would have been a 62mm overbore. This is my engine of choice. I also have an RC engineering 296 cam with titanium Keepers and Springs and shims.if you are interested in the Complete deal text me 404 545 7697. Otherwise I'll be riding this bad boy in a couple of weeks:) Thanks for checking it out. Miles |

Ferrari-designed Santa's sleigh (2010)
Thu, 23 Dec 2010Ferrari is used to building high-speed sports cars, but now it's undertaken a far more difficult design study: building the Ferrari sleigh for Father Christmas. Penned by the design team in Maranello led by Flavio Manzoni, the Ferrari supercar sleigh is said to use many of the design principles which underpin its roadgoing supercars such as the 458 Italia and California. It’s a lightweight sledge with the iconic Prancing Horse depicted on its flanks and racing numerals on the door panels.
McLaren to bring F1 GTR, LM and Longtail to Goodwood
Tue, 18 Jun 2013McLaren is taking the 24 Hours of Le Mans off this year -- actually, it has taken the last 14 years off -- and is instead concentrating on a British tradition: the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The company confirmed it would bring the 1995 Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR to take on the hill this year. It will be joined by the one-off prototype McLaren F1 LM, as well as the Gulf-liveried McLaren F1 GTR Longtail, which claimed second place in 1997.
