I am selling the taillight assembly of a 1978 Lincoln TownCar. It is in good condition and works perfectly. Light bulbs do not come with this assembly. As you can see from the pictures, the lights from the car get connected to this assembly. Perfect for the car collector. There’s something a bit unedifying about publishing pictures of the misfortunes of others, be they accidents or fires. Seems a bit ghoulish to us, although I’m sure we’d get even more traffic through the site if we did.
College Exhibition: Royal College of Art - GE Plasticon project
Mon, 08 May 2006Postgraduate students at London's Royal College of Art recently presented the results of a multi-disciplinary design project in collaboration with GE Plastics. As part of the 'PLASTicon' project, 17 RCA first year MA students researched, designed and built models of concept vehicles aimed at the needs of different markets - from SUV owners to Gen-Y consumers - utilising the capabilities of plastics. Beginning in December, the students from the Vehicle Design course as well as from Textiles, were split into six teams tasked with conducting research into specific scenarios, including emerging generations and emerging markets to meet specific challenges of today and tomorrow.

Fri, 25 Mar 20112012 BMW 3-Series GT caught being transported I can’t say we’ve really laid awake at night thinking about it, but the reveal of the BMW 3 Series GT must be getting close. As, for that matter, must the whole new 2012 BMW 3-Series. We first reported that BMW were making a 3-Series GT back in 2009, but we did know they wouldn’t be building one on the current platform, waiting instead for when the new 3-Series due to put in an appearance, probably at Frankfurt in the Autumn (if not before).
