This item comes from Estate Liquidation.  Please keep in mind that I am NOT an expert, nor am I familiar with all the proper terms to be used in describing such items. However, I describe each item as best and honestly as possible, as well as provide photos for your review (remembering that sometimes a picture can make items look better or worse than they actually are). Ask any questions before you bid, unless otherwise stated, items are sold “as is/as found”. I do not attempt to clean or restore items before selling them, and I leave this up to the new owner. If I make any gross misrepresentation of an item, I will be happy to work with you to find a solution that is satisfactory for both of us.

Porsche Battery – a mere £1200

Thu, 10 Dec 2009

The rather expensive Porsche Lithium Ion Battery Car batteries have been roughly the same shape and size – and utilised basically the same lead-acid technology – for years. But that probably has more to do with alternators replacing dynamos than the batteries themselves.

Peugeot 508 leaks early

Mon, 12 Jul 2010

The Peugeot 508 Estate - turns up a day early It seems like a very long time (it was November last year) since we first reported that Peugeot are dropping the 407 and the 607 and replace them with a new car – the Peugeot 508. Which makes sense, with the 407 getting a bit long on the tooth and the 607 selling nowhere but Paris. We got the first official view of the 508 in the 5 by Peugeot concept at the Geneva Motor Show at the start of the year, and a good looking and elegant Peugeot it looked.

Ettore Bugatti’s own Type 57C up for auction

Thu, 04 Jun 2009

Ettore Bugatti's personal Type 57C Coupe is up for auction at Pebble Beach in August Not only are Classic Cars a decent long-term investment they do also offer the pleasure of playing with them – something no other work of art can manage. And with the rising wealth in emerging economies, something with as finite a supply as Classic Cars can hardly fail to appreciate in the long term. Which explains why real classics are still fetching record prices.
