This Print features the 1978 Peterbilt Classic 359. It is one of my 8" X 10" Black & White Semi Truck Art Print from my original drawings. I used HB, 2B, 2H, and 5H, Pencils. I also used a micron archival ink pen for the very dark areas. It is printed on heavy weight mat stock with pigment-based archival ink, to insure years of viewing pleasure. This print can be hung on the wall as-is or matted and placed in an 11" X 14" frame. It is new and hand signed by automobile artist, Stephen Rooks. I also will do custom drawings of your car. Maybach reaches end of the line
Fri, 25 Nov 2011Daimler AG is set to announce the closure of its Maybach ultra luxury brand this weekend, according to reports. The underperforming 57 and 62 limousines are to be killed off in 2013, following a decision from chairman Dieter Zetsche who has elected not to invest in their respective replacements for 2014. Following a concept car preview at the 1997 Tokyo motor show, Maybach was resurrected in 2002 after Daimler AG failed to purchase either Rolls-Royce or Bentley from then owners, Vickers.
November a strong month for car sales
Mon, 03 Dec 2012U.S. auto sales--led by BMW, American Honda and Volkswagen Group--rose 15 percent to 1.14 million in November, exceeding analysts' forecasts and setting the stage for the industry to finish 2012 on a high note heading into the new year. The annualized industry sales rate, adjusted for seasonal trends, accelerated to 15.56 million--the highest rate since 15.59 million in January 2008.
