ITEM DESCRIPTION: Finally available now is the new 79-81 Camaro Original Style Dash Pad / Padded Dash Pad Panel Assembly  Replace your warped or worn out dash pad with this new high quality one for 1979, 79, 1980, 80, 1981 and 81 Camaro models. Manufactured to OE specifications with a injection molded inner frame which is then molded with foam and finished with a vacuum formed outer skin just as the original GM part. Replaces original Dashpad GM part number # 476641 perfectly. Fits all 79 - 81 Camaro models with or without AC. Tue, 22 Dec 2009It's a testament to the talent, charisma and relative celebrity of Ian Callum, Derek Jenkins and Franz von Holzhausen - heads of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla design, respectively - that they managed to captivate a crowd of industry insiders at the tail end of the Los Angeles Auto Show's second press-preview day. This despite being given a nebulous topic to discuss with a moderator who knew little about the subject. Dan Lyons, a technology columnist at Newsweek, oversaw the panel discussion that was to focus on "Tomorrow's Cars...Practical Transportation or Groundbreaking Design?" He asked only one question on that topic before digressing into a more general discourse on the design strategies of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla.
Owners claim Ford V6 EcoBoost engine defects
Thu, 16 May 2013Ford Motor Co. is being sued by three vehicle owners in Ohio because of alleged defects in the automaker's six-cylinder EcoBoost engine. According to the lawsuit, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine "contained serious latent design, manufacturing, or assembly defects" that cause vehicles to shake, misfire and rapidly lose power.
