1979 - 1985 Mazda RX-7 12A Oil Metering Pump.
Mazda OEM P/N: N249-14-600
This is a used OEM oil metering pump removed from a 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL equipped with a 12A 1.1L engine.
The oil metering pump has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, lubed, and re-assembled.
The oil metering pump housing does not appear to be cracked, broken, damaged, or modified.
All internal parts appear to be in good condition, and show only minimal signs of wear.
The oil metering linkage appears to be slightly bent, however it does not appear to affect functionality.
It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the oil metering pump is providing an adequate supply of crankcase oil to the carburetor after it has been installed.
This procedure is outlined in any service manual for the 1979 - 1985 Mazda RX-7.

Insurance changes to make shopping around easier

DRIVERS renewing their car insurance could find it easier to shop around or haggle for a discount under new proposals set out by insurers. The Association of British Insurers (ABI) said it has written to the City regulator, suggesting that new minimum standards of information should be set across the market. The standards would mean that renewal documents for motor and home buildings and contents insurance would include the premium that the customer started the year paying alongside their renewal quote, so that they could be compared more easily.
