Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max get 1.0 litre EcoBoost
Tue, 16 Oct 2012Ford has announced that the C-Max and Grand C-Max can now be had with the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine with either 100PS or 125PS. It looks like Ford are determined to offer the little 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine in every car they make. In fact, if they still built a proper D-Segement car like the Scorpio it would probably find its way there too.
Chrysler's new problem is a shortage of vehicles
Wed, 05 Aug 2009A two-month factory shutdown and the cash-for-clunkers government rebates accomplished a feat that had eluded Chrysler Group: It turned several slow-selling vehicles into scarce commodities. At the end of July, Chrysler had only a seven days' supply of Jeep Patriots, or 2,200 units, in dealer stocks. Sixty days is considered normal.
Corvette icon Duntov added to Bloomington Gold hall
Wed, 05 Dec 2012Zora-Arkus Duntov, the first chief engineer for the Chevrolet Corvette, is among 10 people who will be added to the Bloomington Gold Corvettes USA's Great Hall next summer. The Great Hall is a form of hall of fame started by Bloomington Gold, an annual Corvette restoration and car show event that rewards cars for being maintained in original or factory-correct condition. The event is held in late June.
