BMW launches new 5-series (2009 teaser

It's begun - BMW has started the PR roll-out for the new 5-series. First up there's both a teaser video and a single image of the Five, before the new car is unveiled on 23 November 2009. There's one solitary image, and the video is typically brief, but BMW claims it's enough to give us a glimpse of 'the sporting and elegant design of the new BMW 5-series, using the kinetic sculpture from the BMW Museum to create the silhouette'.

Police ‘spitalyser’ to catch drug-drivers

Motorists who smoke cannabis before driving will soon find it harder to evade police thanks to a new device dubbed the ‘spitalyser’. The government is spending £120,000 rolling out the devices – also known as ‘drugalysers’ – across 11 police forces for a trial period. Fifth Gear on TV – the Return

Fifth Gear Returns to TV in April with a new format Fifth Gear was everyone’s second favourite car show on TV. And that second favourite label seemed to be its undoing when FIVE decided last year to ditch the show after it failed to make any impact on the ratings against everyone’s favourite car show on TV – Top Gear. But FIVE (channel five if we ditch the trendy CAPITALS) have had a change of heart, done a syndication deal or two for Fifth Gear and are putting together a new series (they’ve actually commissioned two of them) which should hit TV screens at the end of next month.
