1980s 1970s GM TRUCK 1/2 TON  TRUCK DOG DISH HUBCAPS

READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT THE PICTURES BEFORE BIDDING!!!

HERE'S SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND YET REASONABLY PRICED. THESE GM CAPS ARE BECOMING A RARITY AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY  IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.   KIND OF FUNNY HOW WE USED TO FIND THESE CAPS ONCE IN A WHILE AND NOW WE NEVER DO. THERE ARE 4 CAPS LISTED HERE.  THEY ARE NOT EXPENSIVE HIGH DOLLAR SHOW CAPS BUT ARE VERY VERY GOOD USED CAPS FOR SURE..   ABOUT 10& 1/4 TO 10 &1/2 DEPENDING ON WHETHER YOU MEASURE THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE EDGE.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  EACH OF THESE CAPS HAS  REALLY SMALL  DINGS/SCRATCHES, BB SIZE TO THUMBPRINT. MUCH OF THIS IS ALONG THE EDGES. THERE IS ALSO A LITTLE PAINT WEAR AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE SOME READ OVERSPRAY PAINT DOTS ON A COUPLE OF THEM.??? THAT SAID THEY ARE  BRIGHT EXAMPLES BETTER THAN A LOT OF THESE WE HAVE FOUND OVER THE YEARS.  GM JUST USED WAY TOO LIGHT OF MATERIAL FOR THESE.  ANYWAY, JUST REALLY GOOD DOG DISH CAPS.  I RATE THESE CAPS  A 4 MINUS,  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE RARITY & CONDITION. A GREAT DEAL. BUT AGAIN, THEY ARE USED HUBCAPS.   PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES BEFORE BIDDING.  NONETHELESS A BARGAIN AND REALLY GETTING HARD TO FIND.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST YEAR.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE!  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THESE.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Saab 1947-2009: GM 'will close Saab'

Fri, 18 Dec 2009

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 18 December 2009 20:33 It's a sad day for Saabphiles, as GM announced – one week to the day before Christmas – that it has failed to find a buyer for Saab. It will begin winding down the Saab operation immediately. There had been a glimmer hope for Saab earlier this month, as supercar maker Spyker stepped in as a possible suitor after similarly small sports car specialist Koenigsegg walked away from a potential deal in November 2009.But GM admitted it could not viably sell Saab to Spyker – and no other bidders were forthcoming.

Seat Leon and Altea facelifts (2009) first photos

Mon, 09 Feb 2009

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 09 February 2009 12:36 Seat has given its Altea and Leon ranges a neat visual facelift, complemented by the introduction of new common rail diesel engines and enhanced levels of luxury and safety kit. The new-look models will make their debut at the Geneva motorshow in early March, alongside the new Exeo estate and a yet-to-be-seen Ecomotive concept. According to Seat, the new-look Altea and Leon families adopt Seat’s ‘Arrow Design’ look introduced on the Ibiza by Seat design boss and ex-Lamborghini designer Luc Donckerwolke to create a more consistent visual look to the Spanish range.
