Three Sheets of Original DuPont Automotive Refinish Colors Paint Chip Samples for the 1979 Ford Auto Lines including Ford, Mercury and Lincoln.  The sheets includes 53 Exterior Paint Chips, 29 Interior Paint Chips, the Color Name, the DuPont Paint Number and information on Striping Colors.  Also included is prior years color information for 1976, 1977 and 1978.  These vintage chips are intact and in bright color.

Great for selecting or matching colors for that special classic auto or truck.  Looks great framed!  Excellent to near mint condition!  The sheets may have some slight yellowing or soiling due to age.        E-20343

New De Tomaso Pantera at Frankfurt

What is thought to be the new Pantera leaving the De Tomaso facility So far all we’ve officially had from the new De Tomaso, now run by ex Fiat man Gian Mario Rossignolo, is the not particularly well-received De Tomaso Deauville at Geneva in the Spring. It seemed an odd route for the revived De Tomaso to go, and an odd choice of name. The Deauville seems to be halfway between the (poor-selling) BMW 5-Series GT and a Porsche Cayenne.

UK drivers becoming more aggressive

DRIVERS in the UK are becoming more aggressive, with 61% saying they use their car’s horn at least once a month. They are using the horn in anger at other drivers rather than its proper purpose of warning other drivers of your presence. A study by Flexed shows drivers are also using more anti-social tactics than before, with 33% of drivers admitting to changing lanes multiple times in traffic jams to try to get further ahead.

GM's historic Willow Run plant closes

After 68 years of arming the nation and putting America on wheels, the Willow Run manufacturing plant in southeast Michigan closed on Thursday. The 5-million-square-foot powertrain plant, owned by Motors Liquidation Corp., the remnants of the former General Motors Corp., has fallen victim to GM's 2009 bankruptcy and subsequent restructuring. About 300 workers left at the plant will either “retire, transfer to another campus or go on layoff,” said Chris Lee, a spokesman for the reorganized General Motors Co.
