Jaguar to build C-X75
Fri, 06 May 2011Jaguar has announced that the C-X75 concept car from the 2010 Paris Motor show will enter limited production. Strictly limited to just 250 units, the hybrid super car is tipped to cost from £700,000 (depending on local taxes). The C-X75 will utilize a turbocharged 1.6-liter four cylinder engine mated to axle-based electric motors.

But that could be about to change with the arrival of the 2014 Hyundai Genesis, which Hyundai has started to tease with the release of the first photos of their new car ahead of a debut at the Detroit Auto Show. Looking like a slightly tamer version of the Hyundai HCD-14 Concept we saw at Detroit at the start of the year, the new Genesis gets Hyundai’s latest Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language which brings with it a new Audi-esque front grill (well, Hyundai/Kia’s design guru, Peter Schreyer, did come from Audi) as well as a sleeker, more elegant style.
Spada Codatronca Monza
Thu, 14 Apr 2011Taking center stage today at the Top Marques show, Monaco, was the Spada Codatronca Monza. Essentially a roofless, hardcore track focused version of the 2007 Coupe, the Monza is a pure sports car. Penned by Ercole Spada, the Monza is a light weight sports car that retains the taught, angular surfacing of the coupe and familar aggressive DRG and tapered rear but loses all forms of weather proofing in the name of weight.
