This is a beautyyyyyyyyyyyy.  1980-1992, fits all rear wheel drive Fleetwood / Fleetwood Broughams / Coupe Deville & Sedan DeVille (up to 1984 only).  This is not listed as original equipment on the Seville or Eldorado, though the bolt spacing is probably similar (mirror base angle is what varies).

STUNNER~!  For a 30+ year old mirror, this baby is clean and fitting for a top quality Cadillac.  When removed, the heating element and the power mirror portion worked fine.  This INCLUDES the mirror toggle, which many other sellers disconnect and charge extra for.  The housing on the mirror is about as clean as you can find for a 30 year old USED mirror.  There are NO pits on it whatsoever. There is washed-out Arizona/California chrome look....the reflectivity (see pics - the chrome is like a mirror) is excellent.  The mounting studs are clean and fully rust free.  The mirror glass is very shiny and without stains (polish it though).  I deal with a lot of mirrors and rarely give a 9.5 rating on a 10 scale....but this mirror is right there.  Bid with confidence, I don't take murky, low resolution pictures.  That's why my ratings are stellar - What you see is what you get, described in full detail.

FYI -- The inner base is stamped with 61808 ha-lh2. That's a casting #, not a part number.

It is the buyer's responsibility to be sure to verify that any purchase made is correct for their vehicle, as I cannot be responsible for that.  The part # and many pictures are provided to assist you.  Thanks

Car Insurance ‘Black Box’ a good idea? We find out.

Sun, 30 Dec 2012

We’ve been testing a new ‘Telematics’ App from Confused.com which mimics the ‘Black Box’ technology insurers are offering in an attempt to make car insurance cheaper. The inexorable rise and rise of car insurance premiums is a fact of life, and will continue until government gets a handle on ambulance-chasing lawyers and the UK’s idiotic whiplash claims industry. But if you’re looking to find a way to cut your insurance premiums, then having a ‘Black ‘Box’ fitted to your car to monitor your driving so you get charged for how much – and how well – you drive looks a promising idea.
