THE THROTTLE CABLE AND WIRING HAVE RED PAINT ON THEM. THE RED KILL SWITCH KNOB ISN'T CRACKED OR BROKEN BUT IS SUN FADED AND WEATHER CHECKED. KNOB MOVES LIKE IT SHOULD AND THE SWITCH WORKS GREAT. BOTH WIRES HAVE FACTORY CONNECTORS FOR AN EASY INSTALLATION. THE THUMB THROTTLE ON THIS ATC WORKED GREAT BEFORE THIS WAS REMOVED. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Sat, 25 Dec 2010Red Bull’s 2010 Christmas Card Over the last couple of years we’ve featured Bernie Ecclestone’s Christmas Cards as our Christmas Day greeting to readers, as they’ve been by far the most amusing to come our way. In 2008 we saw Bernie’s Christmas card feature a mickey-take of Max Mosley and his extra cirruclar activities amongst the more ‘forceful’ working girls in London town. We followed that up in 2009 with Bernie’s Christmas card once again, this time featuring a mickey-take of his sometime business partner Flavio Briatore as a pirate.
2014 BMW X3 Facelift and more efficient engines
Thu, 06 Feb 2014The 2014 BMW X3 (pictured) gets a facelift and new engines The current version of the BMW X3 SUV has been with us for more than three years, so BMW are giving it a bit of a mid-cycle facelift and more frugal engines to keep the X3 on top of its – very successful – game. Engines on offer for the 2014 X3 include the 2.0 litre diesel in the sDrive18d which offers 148bhp and 56.8mpg and the 187bhp in the X3 xDrive20d which returns 52.3mpg, the xDrive30d – which gets the 3.0 litre diesel unit – with 254bhp and 47.9mpg and the X3 xDrive35 which has an impressive 309bhp but still manages official economy of 47.1mpg. When it comes to the cosmetic facelift bits, BMW hasn’t really pushed the boat out, but the new X3 does get a new headlight design which is sleeker, new front and rear bumpers and a new surround for the kidney grill, which all contrive to make the new X3 look even more like a baby X5.

We all know that classic Ferraris are one of the better investments you can make, certainly in the long term. Just look at the recent sale of a Ferrari 250 GTO for $35 million (new price in the early 1960s was £6k) for evidence of the enormous prices classic Ferraris fetch, certainly the pre-Fiat Ferraris where production numbers were small.
