UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1980 CADILLAC ELDORADO, 6.0l FUEL INJECTED MOTOR, 88K ORIGINAL MILES, HIGHLY OPTIONED CAR FOR THE YEAR. I PURCHASED THIS FROM MY UNCLES ESTATE LAST YEAR. HE BOUGHT IT IN NOV 1982 WITH 26K MILES. IT SPENT ITS LIFE WITH HIM IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA UNDER A CARPORT. RECENT REPAIRS/SERVICE DONE TO IT ARE: VALVE COVER GASKETS (EXTREMELY CLEAN UNDERNEATH), FRONT AND REAR SHOCKS (LOAD LEVELING), LEVELING SENSOR,OIL AND FILTER, TRANSMISSION SERVICED, STABILIZER BAR KIT, AC CHARGED (WAS CONVERTED TO R134A), QUARTER WINDOW SEALS. TIRES ARE ALL MATCHING AND ARE LIKE NEW. I HAVE NOT CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS OR FUEL FILTER WHICH PROBABLY SHOULD BE DONE. RUNS AND SHIFTS FINE. DRIVERS SEAT SHOWS SOME WEAR ON THE BACK(SEE PIC). BOTH POWER SEATS ARE STUCK IN THEIR CURRENT POSITION. YOU CAN HEAR THE MOTORS WORKING HOWEVER THERE IS SOMETHING BROKEN OR NEEDING REPAIRED/REPLACED. FRONT SEAT CENTER ARM REST IS CRACKED ON TOP. CAR WAS JUST PAINTED AND THEY DID AND OK JOB BUT I AM WORKING ON CLEANING UP SOME OVERSPRAY. THE VINYL ROOF IS IN GREAT SHAPE. Research carried out by Auto Trader among 1,024 drivers showed that the British brand's cars are, perhaps unsurprisingly, the ones that most Brits think highest of, beating the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley down the order. In fact, the top three positions in the survey were filled by British car makers, with Bentley and Rolls Royce second and third respectively.
LA Motor Show: Mercedes previews fast GLA compact SUV model

The Concept GLA 45 AMG is the German company’s vision for a rapid car to rival the upcoming Porsche Macan, which like the Mercedes was also unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Using an extremely highly-tuned four-cylinder turbocharged engine similar to that first seen in the A 45 AMG hatchback, the GLA 45 AMG produces enough muscle to fire itself to 62mph in ‘less than five seconds’, according to Mercedes.
Hyundai recalls Santa Fe, Veracruz for airbag fix
Fri, 16 Sep 2011Hyundai is recalling 205,233 copies of the 2007-2008 Santa Fe and Veracruz because of an issue with the airbags. Hyundai has received about 7,800 warranty claims as a result of airbag defects in these vehicles, though the carmaker said it is not aware of any related accidents or injuries. Electrical parts used to deploy the airbags may conduct current improperly, causing them to malfunction during a crash.
