THIS IS A MOTOR OUT OF A 1980 HONDA CM200 T. IT IS SOLD AS IS FOR PARTS OR REBUILD. ITY DID RUN LAST YEAR WHEN PUT AWAY BUT WATER GOT INTO ONE OF THE CYLINDERS SO IT IS PARTLY SEIZED. ONE PISTON MOVES, THE OTHER HANGS UP ON A RUST RING. THERE IS A DAMAGED MOUNT ON THE BOTTOM THAT I THINK WAS FOR THE PEG BRACKET. IT DID STILL BOLT UP SOLID, NOTHING TO BE TOO WORRIED ABOUT. THE MOTOR HAS 5,400 MILES ON IT.

New Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde gets Alfa 4C engine
Sat, 01 Mar 2014The new Alfa Giulietta & MiTo Cloverleaf Heading for Geneva next week will be a pair of updated range-toppers from Alfa Romeo – the Alfa Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde and MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde – with the Giulietta the more interesting of the two. The engine in the new Alfa 4C is based on the engine in the current Alfa Giulietta, but now Alfa has decided the old 1750 TB engine in the Giulietta should make way for its new, lighter sibling from the 4C so the Giulietta will come with the same 1750 Turbo Petrol developing 237bhp and good for a 6.6 seconds 0-62mph sprint. Other tweaks for the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde include big tail pipes, 320mm Brembos, new bodykit, 18″ alloys, sports seats, leather and Alcantar trim, new instruments and a black roof.
More women 'caught drink driving'
Tue, 09 Sep 2014THE NUMBER of women convicted of drink-driving has almost doubled in recent years, a survey has shown. Women accounted for 9% of drink-drive convictions in 1998, but this figure had risen to 17% by 2012, the survey revealed. From car insurance company Direct Line and transport organisation the Rees Jeffreys Road Fund, the survey also showed that 17% of female motorists thought they had driven while over the legal alcohol limit in the past year.

And October has recorded a year on year increase of 31.6%, although total car sales are still down over 12% on 2008 figures. October saw a big rise in new cars sales to private buyers with sales rocketing by 86%, and there were rises in the fleet and business market.
