Thu, 20 Aug 2009The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 runs from 17th -27th September to the public Many of the Japanese makers will be conspicuous by their absence, but that should be more than made up for by the launches from the big European makers. And of course the Koreans – in the guise of Hyundai and Kia – will do what they’re starting to do in the market place and fill the gap left by the Japanese. Famed 1931 Duesenberg Whittell Coupe on the block at Gooding Pebble Beach auction
Mon, 23 May 2011Gooding & Co. is set to auction what it claims is "America's most elegant automobile," a 1931 Duesenberg Model J by Murphy, at the company's 2011 Pebble Beach auction in August. Not to be confused with any run-of-the-mill Duesenberg Model J, this particular car is known as the Whittell Coupe after its owner, California playboy Captain George Whittell Jr.
Scion announces pricing for 2014 FR-S, tC and iQ
Thu, 09 May 2013Scion announced pricing Thursday for several 2014 models, including the tC, iQ and a new 10 Series iteration for each Scion model to commemorate the brand's 10-year anniversary. We saw our first glimpse of the 2014 tC, with sharper exterior styling and an upgraded interior, at the 2013 New York auto show. Scion says the tC's updated automatic transmission will shift twice as fast as the outgoing model and includes Dynamic Rev Management technology.
