Porsche Panamera Hybrid: Geneva Reveal
Sun, 13 Feb 2011The Porsche Panamera Hybrid (click for bigger image) We’ve got to say, the news that the Porsche Panamera Hybrid (strictly speaking, the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid) is going to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in a couple of weeks time isn’t exactly a shock. After all, Porsche has made no secret of its plans to stick Hybrid gubbins in the Panamera; CO2 targets, and all that guff. The T in MKT stands for Touring, and he says: ‘When I think of touring, I imagine long journeys in extreme comfort.’ So passengers sit in seats inspired by the first-class cabin of an aircraft, surrounded by fine wood, leather and silk. It’s guilt-free luxury, though.
Who's Where: Peter Jones appointed Lincoln Interior Design Manager
Fri, 01 Jun 2012Lincoln has appointed Peter Jones as the luxury brand's new interior design manager, a role he will take up within the next few weeks. Jones, who has worked at Ford Australia's design studio for seven years, will report directly to Max Wolff, a former colleague who moved in January 2011 to become Lincoln's Design Director. The Australian designer was interior design manager for the new Ranger and also worked as lead exterior designer on the FG Falcon Ute.
