2012 Honda Insight gets a facelift and emits 96g/km
Sun, 04 Sep 20112012 Honda Insight We’re still not convinced that Honda has its heart in the Insight Hybrid, but they have no choice other than to present some semblance of competition to the stranglehold Toyota has developed in the hybrid market. So in an effort to make it more appealing, the unconvincing 2012 Honda Insight gets a bit of a facelift and, perhaps more appealingly for many, a cut in emissions to under the magic 100g/km. Bloodhound SSC – 1000mph World Record plan
Tue, 24 Nov 2009The Bloodhound SSC – aims to hit 1,000mph The current world record stands at a relatively measly 763mph (measly certainly in comparison to the target set by the Bloodhound SSC Team) and the technical obstacles the Bloodhound team has had to overcome to get their record attempt on target have been substantial. The Bloodhound design has gone through ten evolutions in the last year and has now settled on a plan that has overcome initial obstacles. The first evolution of the Bloodhound saw the 200kg rocket sat above the EJ200 Eurofighter Typhoon jet engine, but that didn’t develop sufficient thrust.
What's New: November 2005
Tue, 01 Nov 2005Volkswagen CrossPolo At the recent Motor Show in Essen, Germany, Volkswagen showed their new CrossPolo. It is an adaptation of the existing car that seeks to extend the range's popularity in Europe, adding extra cladding around the car's ankles. Like the Audi A6 Allroad, it also features (matt) brightwork for the roof rack and door-mirrors, while the central parts of the front and rear graphics are also lightened for contrast against the grey bumpers.
