Vintage Carburetor Restorations

We here at L&A Ventures, home to Spyderscycleworks, are dedicated to the Restoration of Classic/Vintage Motorcycle Carburetors. We deal ONLY in High End Restorations. We offer our services primarily to the more discriminating buyer who demands the best. Our service is second to none. We, unlike many in our business, offer customer support AFTER the sale. We are here, now and after the sale, to take care of our customers.

thank you for the interest in our listings. We are a customer oriented business that will do anything within reason to satisfy our customers. Service after the sale is a top priority. We won’t leave ya hangin’. Any and all questions related to our purchased products will be answered. We provide phone/email support throughout the set-up process of our restored carburetors. We routinely receive questions related to carb jetting/troubleshooting/general repair etc., and will continue to answer questions concerning our listed items. We will no longer be able to serve as an advisor to issues or carbs not purchased from us. This takes time from service to our existing and future customers. There are forums, websites and books out there that can answer those questions. Thanks to all our past, current, and future customers.

This listing is for one (1) Choke plunger as shown

WE SHIP M-F. WE DO NOT SHIP ON THE WEEKENDS. ITEMS PURCHASED SATURDAY OR SUNDAY WILL BE READIED FOR SHIPMENT AND SHIP MONDAY MORNING. ITEMS PURCHASED BEFORE 5:00 PM WILL SHIP NEXT BUSINESS DAY. ITEMS PURCHASED AFTER 5:00 PM WILL BE READIED FOR SHIPMENT BUT NOT SHIP NEXT BUSINESS DAY. THEY SHIP THE DAY FOLLOWING.

Due to the fact that some "less than honest" buyers have removed parts from our carbs and sent back for a refund, we will no longer accept returns on any of our rebuilt carburetors if they have been opened up in any way. We discreetly mark all our carbs to show evidence of tampering. These are ready to go. There is no need to open them up. Re-jetting may be in order for your application, but we must be contacted prior to any modification.

Customs, VAT Fees, Etc. are not included on International shipments. Those are the buyer’s responsibility. Please do not ask us to falsify values...we will not do it

We encourage all buyers to 1st contact Spydercycleworks directly if there is an issue with any purchase. If ebay gets involved, then we will have to abide by their rules. This means the buyer will be responsible for return shipping charges (if refund/return is granted). Once they are involved, our hands are tied. We asked that we be given the opportunity to make it right if it is our fault.

****We always leave feedback when feedback is received****

New Jaguar XJ (2010) – Ian Callum speaks

Tue, 02 Jun 2009

Ian Callum reflects on the design of the new Jaguar XJ Ian Callum is Design Director for Jaguar, and the man does have a good pedigree. His career started round the corner from us, at Ford’s Design & Research facility at Dunton. He worked on a number of Ford’s RS projects, before moving on to TWR to join Tom Walkinshaw, and was responsible for the design of the Aston Martin DB7 and the Vanquish.

Aston Martin One-77 – in the flesh

Sun, 26 Apr 2009

The completed Aston Martin One-77 revealed at the Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este But as we told you the other day, Aston Martin decided that the perfect place to show an ostensibly finished One-77 was the Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este. Which, if it hadn’t rained (which thankfully it didn’t the whole time) would have been idyllic (actually, we had heard on the grapevine that Aston Martin had agreed that the first showing would be at this year’s Salon Prive at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham – glad we didn’t run that as a story!). I have to say the Aston Martin One-77 does look as glorious in the flesh as we hoped.

AutoRama: Hot-rodding, chrome and speed return

Fri, 06 Mar 2009

Chop, drop and roll--that's the unofficial motto at AutoRama, the 57th-annual festival of hot rods and custom cars in Detroit. Chop--as in slice the roof off your speedster with some unnatural surgery to the A- and C-pillars. Drop--as in drop the biggest motor you can find under the hood.
