What I have up for purchase here is an used factory Ski-Doo 2-up, 2 passenger seat assembly, just pulled from a 1993 Grand Touring that we are parting and fitting many of the 1980s and 1990s Skidoo PRS chassis sleds including the Formula MX, Formula Plus, Mach 1, Grand Touring and more. Seat would be perfect for the guy who is fixing up an older Skidoo and looking for low cost OEM 2-up seat or maybe for the guy who always wanted to add a two up seat to his sled. Either way I think you will find this seat to be a great buy and find with our opening bid of $44.99 with NO reseve. Seat is far from perfect, but for the price you cant go wrong!!! .. Now heres what you will get,

(1)OEM Skidoo two-up, two passenger seat assembly with gas tank, as shown above and below. Seat is all black in color with blue piping and the Ski-Doo logo molded into the cover on the top. Seat is approximately 17 5/8" wide and 49 1/2" long measured across the base on the bottom. Now on to the condition, seat has no major rips or tears. There are some areas on this seat where the cover is cracking from age and sun wear, but the seat is still pliable and soft. Seat base is in great shape. Seat is far from perfect, but decent enough for the price. Below I have attached 9 pictures of the seat from every to give you a better idea of the condition and style. Please review before bidding.

As noted this seat was pulled from a 1993 Grand Touring and will be a direct replacement for the 1993-1994 Grand Tourings but again this seat will also fit many of the 1980s and 1990 PRS chassis sleds noted above and possibly more, but please check you parts manuals or old seat dimensions for more applications.. If you need any dimensions or have any questions on fit and or application, please email us. .

Whether you are a Ski-Doo owner or maybe just need a cheap used two up seat for this upcoming season and many more, I think you will find this seat to be an awesome buy. Please email me if you have any questions and buyer to pay actual UPS Ground or USPS shipping in the US with no handling or hidden fees. Good luck and thank you!

Dodge Challenger, Charger get new V6 muscle

Thu, 21 Oct 2010

Dodge is getting competitive in the horsepower wars. After years of languishing with a 250-hp V6 in the Charger and Challenger muscle cars, both are getting a substantial power boost. Chrysler announced some of the ratings for the Pentastar V6--the new 3.6-liter engine that will be the base powerplant across much of its lineup--and for enthusiasts, it's good news.

Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid (2011) first official pictures

Fri, 18 Mar 2011

Porsche has released details of its updated 911 GT3 R Hybrid – the 2010 original nearly won last year's Nurburgring 24hr race before (ironically) it retired with petrol engine failure.  The 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid – the lowdown Before this report disappears in a chorus of ‘it looks the same as last year’s one’, let's outline where Porsche’s engineers have been busy. At the unfashionable end of the car remains a 4.0-litre flat-six engine producing approximately 470bhp. Up front are twin electric motors, now producing 75kW of power each (up from 60kW) and combined these give the GT3 R Hybrid a 197bhp electric boost, which can be programmed to activate automatically via the throttle pedal, or manually selected during overtaking. F1-derived hybrid tech for the 911 GT3 R Hybrid Power for the two electric motors doesn't come from batteries, but flywheel accumulator technology from Williams Hybrid Power, an offshoot of the Williams Formula 1 team. The flywheel, encased in a carbonfibre safety cell in the space where the passenger seat would be, spins at up to 40,000rpm and acts as a mechanical energy store for the electric motors. Regenerative braking feeds energy back into the flywheel system – no surprises there, as the technology is derived from Williams' exeprience with Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems (KERS) in F1.

Citroen DS5: Official

Mon, 18 Apr 2011

Citroen DS5 - another convincing DS Citroen We had the arrival of the Citroen DS5 trumpeted as long ago as 2009 when we revealed that the DS5 would arrive in 2009, complete with hybrid diesel powertrain. Despite the official debut of the DS5 being just days away – and Citroen teasing the DS5 with a photo of a headlight last week – the powers that be at Citroen have decied that we ought to at least have a few photos and some detail ahead of Shanghai. How kind.
