RenaultSport Clio 200: Paris 2012
Thu, 27 Sep 2012Renault has unveiled the Clio RenaultSport 200 at the Paris Motor Show with a 1.6 litre turbo engine delivering 200bhp. The latest version of the Clio RS forgoes its naturally aspirated 2.0 litre engine for a turbo 1.6 litre delivering the same 200bhp but more torque – up more than 10 per cent. What dropping the 1.6 turbo has done to the Clio is make it more economical – Renault say it is 25 per cent more fuel efficient and, obviously, emissions drop comparably.
Mitsubishi takes its Evo X racing
Tue, 16 Sep 2008By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 16 September 2008 13:22 Mitsubishi is taking its Evo X racing. Working with ADR Motorsport - the team that already builds and runs the two-works Mitsubishis currently competing in the British Rally Championship – Mitsubishi will enter a race-prepped Evolution X into the Britcar Championship.Driven by BTCC regular James Kaye, the Mitsubishi works entry will wear the official red and chrome Ralliart livery and make its public debut at this weekend’s Britcar 24-hour race 'It is anticipated that the engine will develop around 400bhp which, together with the Evo’s four-wheel-drive system and inherently good chassis, should make it a highly-competitive package,' said Kaye. If all goes well, Kaye will contest a full season in the 2009 Britcar Championship series.

Tue, 09 Apr 2013But that’s set to change this month with the new Jaguar F-Type officially going on sale on 20th April (in the UK, at least), when Jaguar are expecting many of the thousands of ‘Expressions of Interest’ in the F-Type to turn in to confirmed orders. And so they should. From an initial scepticism about Jaguar’s seemingly ‘premium’ pricing of the F-Type, we eventually concluded it was nothing of the sort.
