1981-88 Chevy Gmc Truck Jimmy Suburban Instrument Cluster With Clock on 2040-parts.com
Tacoma, Washington, United States
This is a instrument cluster with clock that will fit 81,82,83,84,85,86, 87 and 88 Chevy pickup, Suburban, K5 Blazer and GMC it came out of a 85 Chevy Suburban. Everything worked when pulled recently including the clock. The gauges and circuit board look good with fading on some of the needles and a small rust spot by the zero on the oil pressure gauge as seen in pictures. This cluster has an electric oil pressure gauge some came with a mechanical oil pressure gauge so check your truck to make sure this will work for you. It appears that the fuel gauge has been replaced and the needle isn't faded. It has scratches on the clear plastic lens not sure if they would buff out the lens itself is very clear. The mounting points are good with no cracks. The speedometer is cable driven and won't work on the late 80's with the electronic speedometers. Its an overall good instrument cluster. It comes with the speed sensor, chrome clock knob(not shown) and clock wiring that has a repair as seen in pictures and works good. If you have any questions email me.

70% of premium brand cars stolen are taken with the car’s own keys
Thu, 03 Apr 2014High-end SUVs – like the new Range Rover (pictured) are a prime target for car key thieves There was once a time when all it took to steal a car was a wire coathanger and the ability to hotwire the ignition. But as car makers have got better at securing the second most expensive asset most of us will ever own, car thieves have had to look for a different approach, and that approach is increasingly to relieve owners of the keys to their pride and joy. Cobra – the vehicle tracking firm – are reporting that a massive 70 per cent of all premium brand cars stolen in 2014 – with an average value of £40k, up £6k on 2012 – are being parted from their owners using that owners keys.
