Pro built by Sound Design of Minnesota at the cost of $70,000.00 The truck had 41,000 miles when they started and now has 3,400 on the build. It has a amazing stereo with a Kenwood KDC in the dash and 4 channel Memphis amp with (8) Memphis MCD1500 watt amps. (20) Memphis speakers in the cab. Accele camera in tailgate with 7" monitor in dash. It has 4  Kentic batteries mounted in the back. All wiring is top shelf. 240 amp alternator on the crate 350 with Edekbrock intake and Carburetor. Shift kit and stall converter in the 350 transmission. The rear end has a 4 link with independently controlled air bag suspension that has compressor and chrome tanks under hood. The shaved doors are controlled by a key remote that also turns on the Compustar alarm that has blue led lights that flash across the sun visor. It has Street Glow neon under and in the truck. The LED taillights are flush mounted in the rear roll pan in a lighting bolt design. Auto Meter gauges in the dash  with a Grant steering wheel. The wheels are 20" Helo Skid with Nankang tires. There are some minor flaws in the Viper blue and Galaxy silver paint but nobody will notice them. The only problem I have is the drivers window goes up slow. Everything works good and this runs and drives very good. It has cremanic headers with a $700.00 exhaust and all the receipts and info go with the truck. I don't think you will find a better value on a custom truck.

McLaren 12C Spider: Lots more new photos arrive

Sat, 13 Oct 2012

The McLaren 12C Spider was revealed in July, but with just a handful of photos available. But now McLaren has rectified their photo count. Even when the 12C Spider took its public bow at Pebble Beach in August there wasn’t anything new from McLaren’s snappers, and at the Paris Motor show all eyes were on the McLaren P1, so nothing more for the 12C Spider from there either.

One Lap of the Web: Remembering Ayrton Senna

Thu, 01 May 2014

-- Hard to believe it's been 20 years since the passing of Formula One legend Ayrton Senna, but one Jalopnik reader remembers the bloody weekend in San Marino vividly. A dream vacation in Europe cumulating in the ill-fated Grand Prix: Alan Dahl saw Senna's wrecked car coming into the pits, but like the rest of the crowd, he wouldn't find out Senna's fate until he left the track. "For years afterwards I felt guilty that, not knowing that the tragedy had happened," he said, "that I had fun at the race." -- The excellent 8W, a site of racing driver stories, recounts the last 96 hours of Senna's life.
