Here's a short video of the McLaren 650S lapping the Monza racetrack in Italy. The 3-minute, 40-second clip features the company's latest supercar doing high-speed pass-bys and revving engines at the gas station. The footage came out of the “Pure McLaren Driving Experience,” an event put together for company VIPs.

Hyundai are set to launch an additional model of the Velsoter Turbo to sit below the Turbo SE for around £2 less. With the regular Hyundai Veloster starting at £18k and the Velsoter Turbo at £22k, Hyundai has worked out there’s a middle ground price point – can you guess what it is? So to fill that gap (yes, it’s a £20k entry point) Hyundai are to launch the bog-standard Veloster Turbo (without the SE badge) which will lose some of the equipment but, as far as we can see, keep the butch cosmetic bits on the exterior.

The VW Eos Bluemotion launches in the UK A New Year, but still VW are rolling out new BlueMotion Models. This time on the Eos. The usual tweaks apply to give the Eos its BlueMotion status – regenerative braking, start-stop, hill-hold and a gear change light – but this is the first time (unless we’ve missed something along the way) that VW has utilised its BlueMotion toys on a petrol engine.
