Condition:Used

This is what locked the hubcaps down on the downsized Toronado and Eldorado's from the late 70's into the early 80's. This particular set came from a 1981 Oldsmobile Toronado. What you see in the pictures is what you get. There are 12 lugs and 2 locking plates. The 12 lugs are a full set for all 4 wheels. Each plate takes 3 of the special lugs. They have washers built into them to hold down the plates. So a set of 12 is a complete set. There are only 2 of the locking plates. Everything is very clean and rust free. Items must be paid for in 2 days. Thank you.

College Exhibition: IED Fiat/Chrysler project

Fri, 13 Nov 2009

Second year students at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy, recently completed a Fiat/Chrysler sponsored project, which began in February 2009. Conceived as a didactic exercise to think about the recent alliance between Fiat and Chrysler, 37 students were asked to design a vehicle capable of combining the technical know-how, platforms and values of both brands in order to generate interesting and competitive new products for the European and the American markets. In creating their concepts, students were asked to take into account the style, economic accessibility and the low environmental impact of Fiat vehicles as well as the new platforms and major industrial and production capacity afforded by the Italian automaker's alliance with the Chrysler brand.

New Ford Kuga: Titanium and Titanium X make up 87% of sales

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

The new Ford Kuga is now hitting UK showrooms, and Ford has revealed that 87% of buyers are opting for the range-topping Titanium and Titanium X models. But what’s most interesting – in what is supposed to be a cash-strapped economy – is that a full 87 per cent of all the new Kugas ordered so far have been the range-topping Titanium and Titanium X models, and the average up-spend on options is another £1,000 on top of that. That means that although the Ford Kuga range starts at £21,000, 87 per cent of buyers are actually spending between £25-30k on their new compact SUV, which must warm the cockles of Ford’s heart.
