Up for bid is an original 1981 Pontiac Phoenix factory service manual in great condition. This manual covers all 1981 models. This manual contains over 800+ pages about service, repair and specifications for this model year vehicles. Sections include: General Maintenance, Heating and Air Conditioning, Frame and Bumpers, Steering, Suspension, Wheels and Tires, Brakes, Engine, Transaxle, Chassis Electrical, Accessories, Metric Information and Body. This was the bible used by factory service technicians to troubleshoot and repair these vehicles. The manual is in great useable condition and there are no missing pages, but there is a very small piece torn from the upper-right hand corner of the front cover (see PIC). On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being brand new, I’d give this manual an easy 8.0 for its overall condition. Buyer will pay a fixed $ 4.00 shipping fee for USPS Media mail with delivery confirmation – Canada residents please add $8.00 additional shipping charges for International First Class as media mail service is not available. Please add $ 1.70 for insurance – as this is optional. Payments by personal check will ship 5 business days after payment received. Payments by Paypal will ship 2nd business day after payment confirmation received. Don’t have a Paypal account ?  Contact me for other payment options. Good luck bidding !!!

Driving safety proposal postponed

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

A PROMISED Green Paper on young driver safety has been postponed again - to the dismay of Labour and safety and motoring groups. The paper was to have been published at various stages this year but the Government has now pushed it back into 2014. Labour MP Richard Burden accused the Government of "kicking a decision into the long grass" while the RAC said the delay is "unfortunate".
