1981 Porsche 911SC

Lot of 3 different items

 - 1981 911 SC brochure. Includes Coupe and Targa models. 10" wide x 11" high. Full color prestige brochure with many pages.  Excellent condition. Part No. W73-711-6031.

 - 1981 Technical Data sheet / folder - black & white (came as an insert to the above brochure) 9 1/4" wide, 10 1/2" high. Folds open to a chart with capacities, engine specs, top speed (139 mph), dimensions, etc. Excellent, clean condition. Part No. W73-711-6031.

 - Porsche full line folder, poster. This includes 911, 924, 924 Turbo and 928 models. I believe this is a 1980 brochure, but it has a lot of the same pictures as the 1981 brochure, so I feel they still go together. Folds open to a 22" X 29" poster. Part No. W73-700-6041. Nice clean condition

All stored in my collection in a smoke free home since new, not handled, except by me to store in my collection and review for this sale.

All in really clean condition, covers are shiny. They are silghtly curved a bit, and if you reflect light off if them, some very minor surface imperfections are visible. I am saying this only to be 100% accurate in my descriptions. I have bought others over the years described as 100% mint that didn't look as nice as these.

Your chance to get all 3 with 1 bid!

Winning U.S. bidder pays $5.95 Priority shipping or $2.95 Media Mail to any U.S. shipping address. Will be packaged well with stiff cardboard on both sides and marked "do not bend" to avoid damage in shipment.

International shipping cost varies. ask for shipping quote. (Please note, the post office has just had a LARGE price increase on all international shipping). I will give you the best price I can, but please understand that the shipping cost is determined by the post office, (not the seller).

7.50% sales tax added to California shipments.

I will combine orders to save on shipping cost.

Thank you for bidding.

2011 Mercedes CL Facelift Goodwood Reveal

Fri, 02 Jul 2010

The Mercedes CL 2011 bow is at Goodwood We had a peek a couple of weeks ago at the 2011 Mercedes CL facelift after a photo of the AMG version leaked out, but Mercedes has decided to get on with the job and have a proper reveal this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. And it this  facelift for the Uber-Coupe will keep the CL moniker rather than changing to S Class Coupe as we expected. The big Mercedes Coupe is due in the UK by October and it gets the expected nip and tuck to keep it looking fresh.

Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying: Hamilton grabs pole for Mercedes

Sat, 29 Mar 2014

Lewis Hamilton takes pole in Malaysia in heavy rain Lewis Hamilton has secured his second pole position in two outings for Mercedes at the Malaysian Grand Prix – equaling Jim Clark’s record of 33 poles – as rain turned the Sepang track in to a lake. And with drivers quickly going on to full wets – and cars flying off the track as the rain took control of the qualifying sessions – the playing field was levelled, allowing Red Bull’s reigning World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, to almost pip Hamilton to pole, taking second place just 0.055s behind the Brit. Behind Vettel is the winner of the opening Australian Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg, in the second Mercedes, followed by the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso and the Red Bull of new boy Daniel Ricciardo – who was so impressive in Asutrali two weeks ago – taking fifth spot.

Bentley Continental Flying Spur [w/Gallery]

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Bentley's new Continental Flying Spur has been revealed ahead of tomorrow's official debut through a series of leaked pictures. The images, which surfaced earlier today, show the latest incarnation of the Flying Spur is sharper with a more upright grille and taut elegance than the outgoing model. The DRG's character has been subtly altered by placing the larger pair of lamps to the outside rather than sitting closest to the grille, visually widening the car.
