This is a fairing side pocket hard plastic cover off of a 1981 Yamaha XS1100 but may fit other years and models. It is in good shape but could use a good cleaning. There are a couple of small marks on the plastic but no cracks or damage. It is up to the bidder to determine if it will fit their application. It is sold as is no returns so feel free to ask questions before bidding.

Magna gets Vauxhall and Opel

Canadian parts maker Magna takes control of Opel and Vauxhall The German Government is to supply funding of €1.5 billion to help the new Opel/Vauxhall operation to finance the transition. The news hasn’t come a moment too soon, as the US Government had given GM only until Monday to resolve the issue before the likely bankruptcy of GM. The Opel/Vauxhall operation will now be ring-fenced from the insolvency of its former parent in the US and will become ana entity in its own right.

2015 Land Rover Defender delayed – creating the absolute dog’s danglers will take longer

Recently, we reported  Land Rover’s design director Gerry McGovern saying of the 2015 Land Rover Defender  “This car will be the bollocks, I assure you. The absolute dog’s bollocks.” But it seems that creating the absolute dog’s danglers is going to take a bit longer than planned. Autocar are reporting that John Edwards – Land Rover’s Global Brand Director – has said the new Defender will not be going in to production in 2015 as planned, although Land Rover are planning to scrap the current Defender then as it will no longer meet emissions regulations.

But the deal to sell Saab is fraught with difficulties for Victor Muller. It’s one thing getting someone to say yes, but there are an enormous number of hoops to jump through before any deal can be finalised.
