Lambrecht Chevrolet auction update: More detail on the cars

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

In about seven weeks, roughly 500 cars from Lambrecht Chevrolet in Pierce, Neb., will go across the auction block. And pre-bidding has already started on this massive time-capsule collection, accumulated over the course of many decades by Ray and Mildred Lambrecht, a husband and wife team who ran the dealership for more than 50 years. Autoweek will be in Pierce, Neb., to cover the sale in late September and to preserve a sample of the dust on the dealership floor for scientific study.

New Hyundai i30 Tourer starts production

Fri, 15 Jun 2012

The new Hyundai i30 Tourer (Estate) has gone in to production in the Czech Republic, extending the range of the new i30. And now Hyundai look set to increase i30 sales further with the i30 Tourer (that’s ‘Estate’ in English, even if Hyundai PR did manage to refer to it as the i30 Wagon in the Geneva press release to the extent we thought they might launch it as the Hyundai i30 Wagon) starting its production run at Hyundai’s facility in Nošovice in the Czech Republic.

The car and bike accessories retailer listed two car radios in July, claiming savings of £20 on each one. But a complainant noted that the radios had only just been released, and challenged whether the savings claims could therefore be substantiated.
