DESCRIPTION:  THIS IS AN AUSTRIAN-MADE (FOHA) FULL LOWER FRONT SPOILER FOR A 1982 - 1986 TOYOTA SUPRA.  THE BLACK COLOR IS VERY GOOD, AS IT HAS BEEN STORED IN THE DARK OF A COOL GARAGE FOR OVER 20 YEARS BY ME (RARELY IN THE SUN).  VERY HARD TO FIND ONE LIKE THIS.  IT IS (APPARENTLY) DESIGNED TO REPLACE THE SMALL (SHORT) DORSAL FIN/VALANCE PANEL THAT IS STOCK ON THE 2ND GENERATION SUPRA.  SINCE THIS IS MADE WITH A SPECIAL POLYMER RUBBER, IT WILL NOT DISINTEGRATE (SPLIT, CRACK, EXPLODE) LIKE THE FIBERGLAS OR PLASTIC ONES THAT ARE OFFERED ON THE MARKET (WHEN YOU BOTTOM OUT WHILE TRANSITIONING FROM THE STREET TO A PARKING LOT, E.G.).  IT HAS NO ROAD RASH (SCRAPES) EVIDENT ON THE BOTTOM, AND WAS ONLY INSTALLED FOR A SHORT TIME.  THERE ARE SOME IMPERFECTIONS, SUCH AS A WARPAGE IN THE MIDDLE FROM STORAGE THAT NEEDS TO BE WORKED OUT (WHEN INSTALLED).  ALSO, ONE IMPREGNATED BOLT IS BROKEN ON THE INSIDE (BACK SIDE), AND THERE IS A ROUND HOLE THAT IS ELONGATED (SEE LAST PHOTO).  NONE OF THESE LATTER TWO ITEMS WILL SHOW, HOWEVER (ONE IS HIDDEN, BECAUSE IT'S ON THE INSIDE, AND THE OTHER WILL BE COVERED BY THE FASTENER MORE THAN LIKELY).  EVEN THOUGH I'VE HAD THIS FOR 2 DECADES, I DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT IS INSTALLED.  I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO SELECTED MEASUREMENTS IF ASKED.  WHILE THE DYE IS A LITTLE BIT FADED, IT STILL LOOKS VERY PRESENTABLE.  PLEASE EXAMINE THE 12 PHOTOS CAREFULLY, AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASING (I'VE A FEW MORE PICS).  FREE PICKUP.  THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR INTEREST...

SHIPPING:  IS NOW OFFERED.  PLEASE INQUIRE.  (NOTE:  THE "DOG LEG" ENDS WILL NEED TO BE GENTLY FOLDED OVER A CYLINDRICAL OBJECT TO PREVENT CREASING, AND KEEP THE DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT WITHIN SANE LIMITS).  YOU ARE WELCOME TO CALL ME ABOUT THIS AND ANY OTHER ISSUE AT 619-442-2800.  PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE IF I CAN'T GET TO THE PHONE.  THANK YOU...

SEMA ups scholarship money for car-crazed college kids

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

The Specialty Equipment Market Association, better known to most of us as SEMA, has announced a hefty boost to its SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund for 2013: The top student selected now gets $1,000 more for a total of $5,000 toward an automotive-related college education. Other eligible participants in four-year programs get $3,000—last year, they only received $2,000—and two-year students get their funds doubled to $2,000. In the Buckeye State, one lucky student at the Ohio Technical College will get complete tuition coverage, which is a cool $29,400.

P1 Supercar Club in administration

Tue, 07 Apr 2009

The P1 Supercar Club seems to have fallen by the wayside. [ad#ad-1] In a buoyant economy, with plenty of ‘Readies’ floating around, the Supercar Club Concept (where members pay an annual fee for the use of a fleet of Supercars for a fixed number of days a year) works well. Clubs in the UK have sprung up all over the place, inspired by the success of the P1 Supercar Club, co-founded by Damon Hill in 2000.

Lancia Stratos (2010) first official pictures

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

These are the first official pictures of the new 2010 Lancia Stratos, the brainchild of German entrepreneur Michael Stoschek and the spiritual successor to the legendary rally car of the 1970s. After a few weeks of speculation and spy shots, these are the first official photos of the new, 21st century Lancia Stratos. Officially, no.
